Seaweed Soup
Description
A mineral-rich broth-based soup made with seaweed, beef, Shiitake mushrooms, and seasonal greens. Inspired by Korean postpartum traditions, this soup is deeply nourishing and balancing.
Why is it good for you?
Seaweed is loaded with iodine and essential minerals that support thyroid function and replenish depleted nutrient stores—especially important postpartum. The beef provides deeply nourishing iron and protein to aid tissue repair and combat fatigue, while shiitake mushrooms bring immune-boosting compounds and umami depth. The warm broth hydrates, supports milk production, and brings comforting warmth to the body.
